For pregnant women and acute patients there are no restrictions on appointments.
As first analyses from the affected areas show, pregnant women do not have an increased risk of a difficult course of the disease.
There is also no increased risk for newborns.

❚ Information and behaviour ❚

We allow 7 patients in the waiting area. In this way we can ensure that a safety distance of 2 meters is maintained.

We will arrange for our team to test for COVID-19 immediately if the slightest symptoms occur, in order to protect our patients.
In case of a proven illness, we will take all necessary protective measures.

It is also mandatory for us to use protective masks and gloves.
Therefore we would like to ask you to come to the appointment with a protective mask or you can purchase as mask at the reception desk for 1€.

You can feel very comfortable during visiting the practice.

It is one of the most fulfilling responsibilities to accompany pregnant women from the moment of determining the pregnancy and the calculation of the date of birth to all necessary screening appointments up to the actual birth.

Prenatal Diagnostics

Special examinations during pregnancy show the development of your child. In the process, you can detect or exclude possible illnesses or malformations in your baby early.

High-risk Pregnancies

I have many years of experience and great expertise in the medical support of high-risk pregnancies and can offer my patients the assurance that you and your baby are cared for on the highest medical level.

I do my best to plan this moment, which is so important to my patients, and to let them experience the birth process with a great feeling of security. It is especially important to me to offer the mother a situation of safety in which she and her partner, midwife and doctor form a familiar team and welcome the new life into this world.

Prevention of Unwanted Pregnancies

It is important for you and your partner to speak about what your sex life should be like. Only if both partners clearly express their desires and these are mutually accepted, your sex life will be fulfilling. Of course, the joint responsibility regarding pregnancy or contraception is part of sexuality.

❚ Contraceptive Methods ❚

The Pill
The Pill

The birth control pill works by stopping sperm from joining with an egg.
The hormones in the pill stop ovulation. No ovulation means there’s no egg hanging around for sperm to fertilize, so pregnancy can’t happen.

Contraceptive Implant
Contraceptive Implant

A contraceptive implant is a 4cm long and 2mm thin soft plastic rod.
Contraceptive implants are inhibits ovulation for three years.

Contraceptive Vaginal Ring
Contraceptive Vaginal Ring

The contraceptive vaginal ring is a small, flexible, plastic ring with 54mm outside diameter and 4mm thickness, that is inserted in the vagina.
The ring contains the same hormones (progestin and estrogen) found in most birth control pills and inhibits ovulation.

Contraceptive Vaginal Ring 1

The woman herself can insert the ring in the vagina (similar to a tampon).
The contraceptive vaginal ring stays for three weeks in the vagina.

Intrauterine Device (IUD)

Intrauterine device (IUD) is a small, flexible plastic frame, surrounded from a small hormone cylinder by which a small amount of a progestin is constantly released into the uterus.
This leads to a thickening of the mucus in the cervix, which hinders the sperm to rise.
The growth of the mucous membrane of the uterus is suppressed, which reduces or completely stops bleeding.

Copper Coil
Copper Coil

The copper coil (or IUD) is made of plastic and copper.
It's put into the womb during menstruation and lasts 3 to 5 years.
The copper stops the sperm and egg from surviving inside the womb and fallopian tubes, so sperm cannot fertilise an egg.

Contraceptive Patch
Contraceptive Patch

The birth control patch is a thin, beige or transparent patch.
The combination of the hormones progesterone and estrogen in the patch prevents ovulation and therefore a pregnancy.
The Patch sticks on the first day of menstruation to the skin and will changed once a week for 3 weeks ..... then one week off.

3-Month Injection
3-Month Injection

The depot injection is a long-term contraceptive. It contains the hormone progestin in high doses and inhibits ovulation over a period of about 12 weeks. Depending on the preparation, the three-month injection is administered into the muscles or under the skin.

The gynaecological screening is an important examination which should be carried out at least once a year, even in women who do not suffer from any symptoms – thereby, possible diseases can be diagnosed and treated at an early stage.

Breast Cancer Screening

Breast cancer screenings consist of two important measures: The palpation in the practise, as well as the instruction for self-examination.

Screening Cervical Cancer

This is a pain-free examination; cells are extracted from the cervix surface and the cervical canal, and are then sent to the laboratory for further examination. Thanks to the PAP smear test, possible cell changes can be identified early, in order to determine even early stages of cervical cancer.

HPV Vaccination
HPV Vaccination

The HPV immunisation serves as a protection from HPV-related cancer forms and genital warts.

About 25 percent of all women of childbearing age have myoma. A myoma of the womb is a benign tumour, which consists of the smooth cells within the womb. The size of myoma range from only millimeters up to several centimeters; they can either occur singly or there can be several myoma at the same time.

What is very important to me regarding communication is attention, friendliness and reliability. No matter why you consult me in my practise – whether it´s the beginning change, a vaginal or bladder infection, pregnancy or if it´s time for a cancer screening – you can be sure that you will get individual and comprehensible advice.
